A bus is completely covered with visual art announcing utopian embellishment projects:
- on one side, a town is overrun by a lush forest which only allows a few monumental towers to peek through
- on the other side, a completely flooded crossroads becomes a ducks’ playground
on the back of the bus, a bridge overhanging a main road is covered with vegetation and is being used as a shelter for giraffes.

Each picture is marked “notification of public survey”, the name of the location of the embellishment, and a location map.
The bus will run from June until December 2004 in the department of “l’Essone” in the towns around the forest of Sénart where the towers, crossroads and bridge are all located. These places are easily recognisable by the local population who will ask the question:
- who’s idea was it to bring the forest across its boundaries,
- what is the meaning of this advertisement for a world where the town is overrun by vegetation and cars are replaced by ducks?

This project was created as part of the exhibition “Sénart en forêt” – an exhibition of contemporary art organised by the National Forestry Service and led to an international competition.
